preowned, exceptionally fine condition

This 2014 preowned SS-15 is in extremely fine condition and is a real winner. The body size is perfect for travel and the sound is sweet, clear and immediate. Its neck shape is a medium C with the right amount of taper. The 1 3/4" nut width and the 24 3/4" scale length were the perfect choices for this particular model.

CRAIG'S POV

The SS-15 model is a particular favorite of mine. This 2014 preowned example is in extremely fine condition and is a real winner. The body size is perfect for travel and the sound is sweet, clear and immediate. Its neck shape is a medium C with the right amount of taper. The 1 3/4" nut width and the 24 3/4" scale length were the perfect choices for this particular model. As with all Sadowskys, the fret work and setup are impeccable. I always liked Roger's Caramel Burst, which makes an elegant statement here with the finish coming over the bindings. The top, back, and sides have a rich flame to them, which is appropriate for this type of instrument. Sound-wise, well, it is right in the pocket! It can go where a great vintage single pickup 175 can go, but with the added benefit of being more ergonomic and, I feel, more playable. Bottom line - I'm always glad to be able to offer these fine archtops to my fellow guitarists.

If you'd like to find out more about this item, just call or e-mail me. It would be my pleasure to talk to you about it.

ABOUT SADOWSKY GUITARS
Mention the name Roger Sadowsky to your average guitar player, and you'll likely elicit a "Roger Who?" But that name is spoken in almost reverent tones amongst working musicians. Sadowsky has built this reputation by giving the modern guitarist and bassist what he needs--a no-nonsense, versatile, and reliable electric guitar that performs great and sounds better. Of course, these are claims made by every guitar company in existence; but Sadowsky Guitars is one of the very few companies that can actually back it up. Sadowsky Guitars is based in Long Island City, in Queens New York where founder Roger Sadowsky built the business from the ground up in 1979, after 7 years of guitar luthier training. Today, the Sadowsky company has around 10 employees and caters to guitarists such as; Walter Becker, Jim Hall, Chuck Loeb, Russell Malone, Jimmy Bruno, and Lee Ritenour.
