Preowned '54/'58/'59, very good condition
Just in, an extraordinary '50s ash body/maple neck vintage Fender Stratocaster. This outstanding player has been assembled with great vision and purpose, with a resonant 1954 cathedral grain ash body and a 1954 hardtail bridge (you can tell by the narrow saddles). The body was refinished in blonde long ago and aged the old-fashioned way via hard playtime. The 1958 neck is pure perfection, not too big, not too small; a beautifully profiled C shape with original playable frets.

All the hardware is '50s Fender stock. And to bring it all together, making the sum greater than the parts, this beauty was set up to perfection by New York's master luthier, Norio Imai.
The most coveted Fenders have been reassembled by curious and determined players (Blackie, Brownie, Hyde Park Custom Tele, SRV's #1 come to mind) looking to fine-tune an iconic pre-existing design/structure. This remarkable instrument is no exception. This fantastic guitar has all the tone, feel and mojo that one hopes for in a quality vintage Fender '50s Stratocaster. A big thumbs up here!
