Here is another awesome guitar from the always impeccable and skillful Roger Sadowsky. This stunning 2012 Walter Becker Model is as clean as they come with barely any signs of wear. Once again Roger creates a superlative electric guitar, which in this case, is tuned into Steely Dan's Walter Becker's discriminating sensibilities. The playability is second to none (of course!... what else would you expect from Sadowsky?) and the sounds are extremely versatile. Jazz, rock and blues tones bloom effortlessly; nothing seems to be out of its reach. It's really a perfect studio guitar and after playing it a while I can see why Walter chose what he chose in creating this model.

The fretwork is precise and true. The Brazilian fingerboard provides that warm organic feel up and down the neck. And at 6.5 lbs it's a joy to pickup and play. So if you are looking for a beautiful guitar that straddles the strat world and beyond and is creatively crafted with great skill and attention to detail, this Becker should be on your short list.
