This guitar just melts in your arms, and just resonates as you play. And the slight body cut out makes it very comfortable... sitting or standing. Another innovation is the flat bridge instead of the so called 'ashtray' bridge, which gives more comfortable access to the entire string length. The individual string adjustments make it much easier to intonate the guitar as well.

CRAIG'S POV

I feel like I sound like a broken record when I write about Roger's guitars because they really are always exactly what you hope for and expect; perfect set up, fantastic tone, true player's guitars, where everything is exactly as you would want it to be. I've written elsewhere about how Roger has thrived in one of the most difficult guitar markets in the world for many years. That doesn't happen by accident, by marketing, by hype. It only happens when a builder's guitars come out at the highest possible standard time after time after time.

This beautiful guitar is no exception. Roger has taken a traditional T style design, and made it into a modern guitar for any setting. Tele players will easily feel at home with this beauty. All your familiar Tele tones are here. But in keeping with Roger's philosophy, this guitar does so much more. The coil tap humbucker in the neck position can go from twang to jazz, really! The hum canceling bridge pickup tears and rips and would probably put a smile on Roy Buchanan's face. No compromises here.

And the feel, the feel! There are plenty of tricks to get a three barrel bridge in tune, but with six saddles, it is simply a breeze and easy to do on the fly if needed.

Of course it has a Sadowsky neck, meaning it is perfect, no choking, just the perfect medium C profile. The matte nitro finished roasted maple neck, paired with the Brazilian fingerboard, provides a very warm organic look and feel.  This guitar is truly one of Roger's iconic designs. A long time favorite of John Abercrombie, who has made many recordings with this model.

The thing with 'do everything' guitars is that there is usually always a compromise. I can find none here, and that is a testament to Roger's long standing passion for excellence. This guitar plays beautifully, sounds fantastic, and is ready for whatever you throw at it. It's truly a fine guitar!

If you'd like to find out more about this item, just call or e-mail me. It would be my pleasure to talk to you about it.

ABOUT SADOWSKY GUITARS
Mention the name Roger Sadowsky to your average guitar player, and you'll likely elicit a "Roger Who?" But that name is spoken in almost reverent tones amongst working musicians. Sadowsky has built this reputation by giving the modern guitarist and bassist what he needs--a no-nonsense, versatile, and reliable electric guitar that performs great and sounds better. Of course, these are claims made by every guitar company in existence; but Sadowsky Guitars is one of the very few companies that can actually back it up. Sadowsky Guitars is based in Long Island City, in Queens New York where founder Roger Sadowsky built the business from the ground up in 1979, after 7 years of guitar luthier training. Today, the Sadowsky company has around 10 employees and caters to guitarists such as; Walter Becker, Jim Hall, Chuck Loeb, Russell Malone, Jimmy Bruno, and Lee Ritenour.
