Preowned 2012, excellent +
This wonderful guitar is quite resonant and lightweight, in part due to its semi-hollow construction and in part because of Nik's selection of exceptionally fine woods. All of this care and attention adds up to a rich and touch sensitive electric voice that's full of nuance and bloom. It will appeal to both modern and vintage enthusiasts. Nik keeps it simple. Not a lot of knobs and switches here, just plug in and play your heart out.
Nik Huber sure makes a fine guitar and this exquisite Dolphin II model is no exception. The build quality is of the highest level with exemplary standards of fit, finish, tone and playability. At some point in their career, most boutique builders find their voice by expanding and defining a preexisting build platform. Nik has come up with his own recipe; he takes what he considers the best parts of PRS with a scoop of Gibson and a pinch of Fender and combines them to create a wonderful instrument that, in my opinion, could find a home in any player's hands.

One last thing. I really love the neck profile on this Dolphin. It's full but wonderfully shaped with a soft V carve, reminiscent of the very best of Gibson's 1950s neck shapes.
So here you have it; a fine preowned bespoke guitar built by Nic Huber in 2012 that is gently priced and available to check out now.
